Photography

**New for 2026** Colorado Anime Fest no longer has “credentialed access” for photographers.

Unless otherwise posted, photography by any COAF badge holder is permitted without a separate badge type or credential. If you wish to receive press access, you must meet the same requirements outlined as other press outlets. See our Press policies here.

Photographers of all types are expected to conduct themselves professionally and with respect to fellow attendees, COAF staff, and hotel staff.

Rules and guidelines for photographers :
• Please ask for permission before taking anyone’s photo.

• Do not photograph in the following areas without permission: Guests of Honor autograph areas, vendors' hall, artists' alley.

• The majority of your equipment should be handheld or leave a small footprint. We are a growing convention and floor space is increasingly limited. For the safety of everyone, please avoid large lighting stands, backdrops, etc in public spaces.

• Share spaces and limit your time in any one area. If you are found to be “camping” in an area (fireplaces, decorated walls, etc) for an extended period of time, you may be asked to leave the area and/or have your badge revoked by COAF staff.

• Drones are not allowed to be flown on the property.

• Flash photography is not permitted during Main Events/Panels.

You will often see COAF staff photographers around the event, please note our Registration Agreement:
Acceptance of your badge constitutes an agreement by the recipient to allow Colorado Anime Fest to use your likeness in any current or future advertising or promotion. All images and logos on the badge are the protected properties of Colorado Anime Fest and Broad Horizons Events Corp. Reproduction or misuse of images or logos is punishable by law. Please familiarize yourself with convention policies as the badge is forfeitable to convention staff upon demand if you violate a policy.
