Accessibility and ADA

If you require accommodations because of a disability, please visit the ADA Information Desk and our team will provide badge stickers to you and one companion. Stickers can be placed on the front or back of your badge, based on your preference. Your companion must have their own valid convention badge and they must be at least 18 years old to accompany you into an 18+ panel or event.

During the convention, simply show the badge sticker to any staff member and let them know how they can be of assistance.

COAF Accommodations

All activity rooms have wheelchair spaces; smaller rooms have at least one such space, and larger rooms have multiple spaces. We also provide advance event seating and line assistance for those with disabilities and their companions.

Wheelchair spaces and advance seating are generally available on a first-come, first-served basis. For us to guarantee you a space, please notify us or arrive at events at least 15 minutes in advance. For the most popular events like the Costume & Cosplay Contest, please notify us at least 30 minutes in advance.

We provide a large-print version of the programming schedule. Copies are available at Registration, Operations, and the ADA Information Desk.

Trained service animals are welcome in sleeping rooms, common areas, and convention space. Pets and emotional support animals are strictly prohibited on the convention floor, however.

Additional reasonable accommodations not listed above will also be provided on request. We may not be able to accommodate every aspect of every disability, but we’ll make every effort to ensure you have the best convention experience possible.
